บ้านโบราณ 100 ปี

            บ้านโบราณหลังนี้ มีอายุประมาณ 90-100 ปี เป็นบ้านของ นายหนู ศรีวรกุล (เฮียน เรียนดึงดึง) และนางหนูนา อุปพงษ์ ซึ่งเป็นบุตรของ พระยาประจันตประเทศธานี  เจ้าเมืองสกลนครเวลานั้น  เดิมสร้างเป็นที่อยู่อาศัย  ต่อมาในระหว่างสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 ทางราชการสั่งปิดโบสถ์ ไม่ให้ใช้ทำพิธีใดๆ ในทางศาสนา ชาวคริสต์จึงต้องหาสถานที่แห่งใหม่ เพื่อใช้ทำพิธีต่างๆ เช่น พิธีบูชามิสซา พิธีรับศีลสมรส และเนื่องจากบุตรหลานของเจ้าของบ้านหลังนี้ เป็นพระสงฆ์ในศาสนาคริสต์ จึงอนุญาตให้ใช้บ้านหลังนี้เป็นสถานที่ประกอบพิธีกรรมทางศาสนา และชาวคริสต์ รุ่นเก่าหลายคนก็เคยใช้บ้านหลังนี้จัดพิธีรับศีลแต่งงาน น่าเสียดายที่ต่อมาบ้านถูกไฟไหม้ ชำรุดทรุดโทรม ไม่มีการบูรณะซ่อมแซม มีต้นโพธิ์ขึ้นรกรุงรัง จนกลายเป็นบ้านร้างอย่างที่เห็นในปัจจุบัน

THE RUINED HOUSE

            The ancient building is 90-100 years old belonging to Mr. Noo Srivorrakul (Hien Riandungdung) and Mrs. Noona Uppapong, a daughter of Phraya Prajantaprathetthanee who was a Governor of Sakon Nakhon city at that time. The building was firstly designed to be a residence and later, during the Second World War the Government ordered to close all Catholic churches and chapels and forbade not to practice any religious activities. Christians then looked for a new, safe place to carry on essential religious rites such as Mass and Wedding rite. Due to the owner of the house’s nephew who was a priest, he allowed them to use his house as the place to perform religious activities. And many of old generations’ marriage ceremonies were held in the house. Unfortunately, the building was on fire latter. Nobody looked after and renovated it, plants qrew on and it became ruined until today.

คฤหาสน์ อุดมเดชวัฒน์

                อาคารโบราณหลังนี้ ตั้งอยู่เลขที่ 268 หมู่ที่ 6 ถนนราษฎร์เจริญ บ้านท่าแร่ เป็นของนายคำสิงห์ อุดมเดช หรือเป็นที่รู้จักกันในชื่อ องเด สร้างขึ้นตามรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมฝรั่งเศส (French Colonial Architecture Style) ในปี ค.ศ. 1933 (พ.ศ. 2476) โดยช่างชาวเวียดนาม ที่อพยพมาอยู่ในจังหวัดนครพนมและบ้านท่าแร่ เป็นอาคาร 2 ชั้น พื้นที่ปลูกอาคารแต่เดิมเป็นดินโคลนปลักควาย จึงมีการถมให้แน่น ชั้นล่างทำเป็นร้านค้า จำหน่ายสินค้าเบ็ดเตล็ด สิ่งจำเป็นในการอุปโภคบริโภค รวมทั้งตาชั่งจีน ส่วนชั้นบนเป็นที่พักอาศัย มี  2 ห้องนอน อยู่ด้านซ้ายและด้านขวา มีแท่นพระที่สวยงามตั้งอยู่ตรงกลางห้องโถง สำหรับตั้งกางเขน พระรูปพระเยซู รูปพระแม่มารีย์และนักบุญต่างๆ ไว้ให้สมาชิกในครอบครัวได้เคารพบูชาและสวดภาวนา พร้อมที่จะใช้ประกอบพิธีทางศาสนา สภาพของอาคารในปัจจุบัน พื้นชั้นล่างทรุด ขาดการบูรณะซ่อมแซม เพราะไม่มีผู้อาศัยอยู่อย่างต่อเนื่อง อย่างไรก็ดี โครงสร้างส่วนสำคัญของอาคารหลังนี้ ซึ่งช่างได้ใช้เทคนิคแบบโบราณในการก่อสร้าง โดยใช้ปูน ทราย อิฐ ผสมผสานยึดติดกันกับเสาไม้ได้อย่างลงตัว ทำให้ผนังและหลังคามีความมั่นคงแข็งแรงและปลอดภัย ถือได้ว่าเป็นสถาปัตยกรรมที่โดดเด่นสวยงามล้ำค่าแห่งหนึ่งในจังหวัดสกลนคร

UDOMDETWAT MANSION

            The mansion is located at 268 Ratjaroen road, Ban Tharae. It belongs to  Mr.Khamsingh Udomdej or well known as Ong De. The building was built in 1933 A.D. (2476 B.E.) in French Colonial architecture style by Vietnamese immigrants who lived in Nakhon Phanom Province and Ban Tharae. The land where the building located was formerly a buffalo muddy place, it was then steadily filled with earth. It is a two-story house. The first floor was designed to be a store, selling miscellenous goods and daily essential consuming items including Chinese scales. The second floor is consisted of two bedrooms one on the right and the other on the left of the building. In the middle of the hall stood a beautifu; altar and holy shrine for placing the Cross, Holy Image of Jesus Christ, Our Virgin Mary and Saints for family to worship and pray and be ready to serve Catholic religious activities.
           The condition of the building at present is quite ruined especially the first floor which subsided, mainly caused from not being renovated because nobody has been living. However, the main structure can maintain the building to be steady and strong by using special traditional technique to mix lime, sand and bricks as well as joining bricks and wood pillars just right to support the walls and the roof safe and sound.
              It is recognized as one of the significant landmarks, beautiful and valuable architecture in Sakon Nakhon Province.

บ้านโบราณของ องเลื่อง โสรินทร์

               อาคารโบราณหลังนี้ ตั้งอยู่เลขที่ 269 หมู่ 6 ถนนราษฎร์เจริญ บ้านท่าแร่ เป็นของนายเลื่อง โสรินทร์ สร้างขึ้นในปี ค.ศ. 1932 (พ.ศ. 2475) โดยช่างชาวเวียดนามที่อพยพมาอยู่ในจังหวัดนครพนมและบ้านท่าแร่ เป็นอาคาร 2 ชั้น สร้างในรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมฝรั่งเศส (French Colonial Architecture Style) ผสมเวียดนาม ช่างก่อสร้างได้ใช้ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นและประสบการณ์ในการก่อสร้าง แบบก่ออิฐถือปูน ไม่มีปูนซีเมนต์ ไม่มีเหล็ก แต่ช่างได้ใช้วัสดุพื้นบ้าน โดยการนำปูนขาวผสมกับทราย ยางพืชพื้นเมือง คือยางบงและน้ำอ้อยแทนปูนซีเมนต์ โครงสร้างชั้นบนส่วนมากเป็นไม้ อุปกรณ์บางอย่าง นำเข้ามาจากประเทศฝรั่งเศส ผ่านทางคุณพ่อยอแซฟ กอมบูริเออ มิชชันนารีชาวฝรั่งเศส ซึ่งเป็นเจ้าอาวาสวัดอัครเทวดามีคาแอล ลงเรือมาถึงกรุงเทพ ขึ้นรถไฟมาถึงโคราช และบรรทุกใส่เกวียนต่อมาถึงท่าแร่ อาคารหลังนี้จึงกลายเป็นมรดกที่ล้ำค่าทางสถาปัตยกรรม ที่โดดเด่นสวยงามอีกแห่งหนึ่งในจังหวัดสกลนคร

ONG LUANG SORIN’S ANCIENT HOUSE

            It is located at 269 Ratjaroen Road, built in 1932 B.C. (2475 A.D.) in western style mansion. It is a French Colonial architecture mixed with Vietnamese style. Vietnamese constructors used their folk wisdom and experience to build by laying bricks without any cement, concrete and steel but they utilized lime mixing with sand and local plant rasin which is called Bong tree (local tree) and molasses. The structure of the second floor and the roof were mainly made of wood. The door and window frames are designed in a half circle. Some of the equipments and materials were imported from France by Rev.Fr.Joseph Combouriue, a French missionary who was a parish priest of St.Michael Cathedral, shipped to Bangkok and loaded by train to Korat and carried by carts to Tharae. The building becomes one of the most valuable heritage, beautiful and remarkable architecture in Sakon Nakhon Province.
